This little work emanates from the Convent of the Maternal Heart of Mary, at Nottingham, and is one of a series. The community was founded and established a few years ago by his lordship the Bishop of Nottingham, and is doing a good work. The sisters are a nursing community, and are in much request in Nottingham and the neighborhood for nursing the sick. But besides this, they do a great deal in instructing the ignorant, and those to be received into the Church; in preparing the young and old for the worthy reception of the sacraments, and in other good works.
